Some Vital Questions & Answers When Considering a Treatment Center:
1. Are you state licensed for outpatient? residential? detox?
New Method Wellness is State licensed for outpatient, residential and detox
2. Are you Carf accredited?
New Method Wellness is Carf accredited. Only the best achieve this qualification; they must meet superior standards of treatment.
3. Are you a dual diagnosed treatment center? Who is your psychiatrist?
Yes we are a dual diagnosed treatment center. To qualify there must be a psychiatrist on staff. Our psychiatrist, Dr. Nishant Kumar, D.O., has attended school two additional years to study addiction.
4. Are you probation approved?
We choose not to be probation approved. Our clients want to be here. They are not sent by the courts.
5. Has your state license ever been revoked?
New Method Wellness’ license has never been suspended or revoked, and is currently in good standing with the state.
6. How many in treatment at a time?
In our treatment at any given time are approximately 25-30. We have gender specific homes available for our clients to live in. The center also has gender specific groups and coed groups daily. This is because we believe in a real life program.
7. Is there full time supervision?
At New Method Wellness, we have a full-time staff around the clock. Our doctors and psychiatrist are also available 24/7.
8. Do you use interns for one on ones?
We do not use interns for one-on-ones. Sometimes, we do have interns in the office to help facilitate groups and assist with one-on-one coaching for jobs.
9. How many one-on-ones do you get a week?
The clients can have as many one-on-ones they require per week. Most clients start with two, and increase if needed. Each program is designed specifically for each individual.
10. What is included in treatment?
Everything is included in treatment at NMW: Massages, yoga, acupuncture, tai chi, private gym, nutrition, psychiatrist, doctors and transportation.
11. Regarding outings supported by treatment center? Who pays? How many per month?
Every outing supported by the treatment center is covered by the treatment center. We go on at least one/two a month. For example, we have gone to the county fair, Knott’s Berry Farm, bowling, movies, trampolining, laser tag, miniature golf, ice skating, hockey games, and rodeos. These are just a few!
12. How long is your treatment program?
New Method Wellness has from 2 weeks to 1 year depending on the individual wants and needs.
13. What is your Positive Growth Program?
PG is a program we designed for clients whot want to start work, school, and or volunteer. After 60-90 days of treatment, we recommend to clients in need a Positive Growth Program where they start stepping down one day at a time over a period of time. We have life coaches working at NMW to help with applications, resumes or whatever is needed for the next step in life.
